MUCH to everyone's annoyance, Sam Mitchell has no intention of shortening her visit in Walford.

Next week in EastEnders, she even goes a step further by asking Jack Branning to fight off a gangster for her.

Sam Mitchell (portrayed by actress Kim Medcalf) returned to Albert Square and has been ruffling feathers ever since.

In upcoming scenes of the long-running BBC One soap, Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) and Denise Fox (Diane Parish) become increasingly frustrated with the former lapdancer.

To make matters worse, Sam asks Jack – who also happens to be the father of her only son Ricky – to get himself involved in her row with Jonah, one of Phil's associates.

Sam meets with the latter and forces him to agree to Phil's terms, before pushing Jack into the spotlight.

While she was initially thought to be back for her nephew Ben, she revealed her true motives for being back in Walford to Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), during another showdown at the Prince Albert.

She told Sharon that Phil had organised a business meeting with an associate named Jonah who usually has to deal with Ben, further implying that Sam was ready to take over the family empire.

The meeting took place in The Arches and while Sam believed she could handle it, Sharon had her doubts.

Sharon joined forces with Kat and attended the meeting alongside Sam.

Sadly for her, however, neither Kat nor Sharon are ready to extend an olive branch to her as old feuds are reignited.

Sharon has notably feuded with Sam due to her adoptive father Den's death in 2005.
