Emmerdale's Joanne Mitchell has appeared on the popular ITV soap many times – all while portraying four very different roles.
Currently known as Sandra Flaherty – Joanne plays the role of Liv's mum, but has played a varied selection of different characters on the Yorkshire based soap opera.
Her first appearance was in 2003 when she popped up as DS Karen Barnborough who investigated Zoe Tate 's rape allegations against Scott Windsor.

The second time she appeared on Emmerdale was as Midwife Yeo who looked after baby Samson Dingle.
In 2009 she took on the role of a Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service (CAFCASS) officer named Susan Davies.
And more recently she plays the role of an embarrassing mum who has a drink problem, Sandra, after taking over the role from Janet Bamford in February 2016.
But what about Joanne's life away from the Dales?
From her co-star hubby – who you will definitely know of, to her rival soap role in a damning storyline, to her second job – this is everything we know about TV and film sensation Joanne Mitchell.
Away from her acting roles, Joanne is married to fellow Emmerdale star Dominic Brunt, who she first met when they attended the same theatre school.
The couple both attended and trained at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, and have both since appeared in the soap Emmerdale.
Dominic plays the role of Paddy Kirk – a long-standing character who has been present in the soap since 1997.
Joanne and Dominic got hitched in 2003, and have since joined forces to create a film production company, which is named after both of their surnames.
They share two children together.
Son rushed to hospital
The couple's son Danny was diagnosed with a heart condition when he was just eight years old.
At one point he was rushed to hospital and had to be sedated and wheeled away to theatre.
He needed to undergo by-pass surgery, which led to Joanne and Dominic being told there was a chance that he might not make it.
Dominic previously told viewers on This Morning: "He had to go through major heart surgery at eight months, but he's fine now.
"It's the most horrific thing to have to go through as a parent but he's football mad now – he's completely fine – he has to check up once a year for the rest of his life.
"The people at Leeds Infirmary carry you through as parents because you don't know what you're doing and you're given this information and you have to go through it."
Rival soap role
Joanne has popped up in many TV shows – with Coronation Street even being on her list of credits.
In Corrie, she has played the role of Marsha Westbrook and on a separate occasion a sonographer.
When she popped up as Marsha in 2018, she was Kayla Westbrook’s mum and Neil Clifton’s wife.
Neil, who was a police officer, was a member of an abusive sex ring and went to prison after raping Bethany Platt in a damning storyline.
As well as her stint on the cobbles, she has also appeared on the likes of Waterloo Road, Doctors,A Touch of Frost,Holby City and Caeser Price Our Lord.
Like we mentioned earlier on, Joanne has a business with her husband Dominic.
The pair founded Mitchell-Brunt Films, which pushes the boundaries to merge the drama and horror genres.
Away from her acting roles, she wrote and produced two short horror films The Mighty Witch Killers of Pendle Hill and Shell Shocked.
She also co-starred in the claustrophobic chiller White Settlers and the Manchester-set Habit.
As well as the above she conceived, produced and starred in the zombie drama Before Dawn 2013 and the female revenge thriller Bait.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV and ITVHub
