EMMERDALE'S Liv Flaherty looked to have turned the corner away from her addiction – but she's back on the booze this week.

The alcoholic – played by Isobel Steele – has been struggling to fight the urge for a drink, and tonight turns to stealing to fuel her out-of-control habit.

Liv relapsed into her drinking habit after Ben Tucker found out she tried to sabotage his chances of getting a job in Cornwall by ruining his reference.

Desperate not to see big brother Aaron Dingle move away, it's clear that the teen took things one step took far.

So when Aaron declares he will no longer step in to help Liv control her drinking, things go from bad to worse for her.

Trying her best to hide her habit, Liv turns to stealing bottles of wine from the Hide before turning up to work drunk.

Just as she thinks she's getting away with it, however, Ben turns up at Hawksford Outdoor Pursuits to call her out in front of boss Laurel.

Now obvious she's had one too many, Laurel quickly sends her home – but not before Liv and Ben exchange heated words.

It's cut short as Ben disappears to gather evidence as to who was really behind the survival challenge disaster – breaking in to the HOP office.

Ben finally turns to the body camera and is horrified as he watches the shaky footage of the attempted drowning of Victoria.

He calls Billy and begs him to come and look at the disturbing footage, but Billy refuses, and with Meena sat right next to him, she hears everything.

As Ben despairs over what he's found, he discovers Liv drunkenly trying to steal booze from the Hide as she clatters among smashed wine bottles.

When Ben orders her to go home, Liv sees red and, turning physical, jumps to attack him in a fit of drunken rage, unaware they are being watched by Meena.

The teen wrestles Ben's phone from his hands before running away with it – unknowingly leaving him alone with the killer.

When Meena lunges at him in an attempt to take the camera – and the evidence of her killing – away, Ben flees the scene.

And as Meena chases, she slips on the broken wine bottles left on the floor by Liv and looks to be out cold.

As Meena lies lifeless on the floor, panicked Ben has no idea what to do. Could this be the end of the murderess?
