EMMERDALE star Jessie Elland has teased Chloe Harris’ evil dad’s arrival into the village.

The teenager made her debut in the soap as Chloe, the sister of Sarah Sugden’s heart donor last year.

It soon emerged that she was living in a gilded cage with her prison inmate dad controlling her every move with the help of his gang underlings.

Viewers have been desperate to know who Chloe’s dad is – convinced he is someone with a connection to the village.

They are convinced that her jailed stalker Noah Dingle will come face to face with her evil gangster dad in prison.

And now the actress has fuelled the rumours speaking to The Sun.

“You’ll just have to wait and see,” she teased after being asked if viewers would finally meet her dad in prison with Noah.

Jessie added: “There’s a lot of exciting stuff coming up so you’ll just have to stay tuned.

“There’s a lot of interesting stuff. I’m really excited to get stuck into it. I’m really excited for the viewers to see it and hear what they think.”

She added: “I’ve really liked the opportunity to get to know Chloe more and develop Chloe more and see how she’s settling into the village, let’s say.

But as for whether Chloe is hiding part of herself that’s more like her dad, Jessie teased that she shouldn’t be underestimated.

“She is someone who knows what she wants,” she said.
