Ex On The Beach star Jemma Lucy has been rushed into hospital and has banned her boyfriend from visiting her.

The 35 year old shared a selfie from her hospital bed, which showed her looking frustrated, and wrote: “Constant wait wait wait wait.”

Jemma explained that she had been in a lot of discomfort while she waited to be seen at her local hospital's accident and emergency department.

While in the hospital, the reality star filmed a video to update her followers, and she said: “I can't even lie, the whole slagging of the NHS is one thing, I don't like to do it, but they are long.

“It's like they want you to be in the worst critical condition before they do anything. I'm in a fair amount of pain on and off, but because I'm not in excruciating dying pain, I'm just waiting.”

She went on to explain: “I feel like I'm waiting to be in that pain, it's inevitable before I have surgery or the next steps.

“There are a few next steps, and I'm hoping I don't have to have surgery.

“I guess I just have to wait to be in worse pain.”

The video sparked concern amongst her fans, and they were quick to ask her if she had any friends or family supporting her through the difficult time.

That is when she revealed that she had banned her partner, Nicholas Sinclair, from visiting her in the hospital.

She explained: “I am, but it's my choice, I prefer to do these things alone so I can zone out and just deal with it.

“Nick wanted to come, but I said no.

“Is that weird? Like I just prefer to be alone but feel like no one gets that.”

She later added: “Plus I'm used to doing s*** like this on my own.”

Jemma and Nicholas were seen together for the first time back in September, as they checked into a hotel days after his split from Made In Chelsea star Ruby Adler.

After that, Ruby slammed Jemma, as she claimed that she started seeing Nicholas while he was still with Ruby.

However, Jemma did reply to her claims when a fan asked her: “Why does Ruby think you slept with Nick when they were together?”

She replied: “I don't know, but on my whole family's life, I didn't she didn't even speak to me about it before she posted.”

Ruby did respond again by taking to Instagram to write: “On reflection on my last post, I shouldn't have said what I said, especially so publicly.

"I should have handled things differently, and I'm just processing a really hard break up, and I very much retract what I said about Nicholas and Jemma.

“I don't believe there was cross over, and I posted that in haste after receiving some very strange messages. And I'm just hurting.

"We had a year long very loving relationship, and I wish him all the best. Please leave both of them alone and respect all parties. Thank you.”
