First Love Island couples confirmed – but bombshell twist stuns Islanders

The first ever 2019 couples have finally been confirmed – but it wouldn't be the Love Island we all know and love without a good twist.

Five sexy singletons; Amber Gill (21), Amy Heart (26), Anna Vakili (28), Yewande Biala (23) and Lucie Donlan (21), all arrived in the villa, closely followed by host Caroline Flack.

One by one they paired up with each of the hunky boys – Anton Danyluk (24), Michael Griffiths (27), Sherif Lanre (20), Joe Garratt and Callum MacLeod (28).

But just as they all began to get settled into the new villa, their paradise was invaded by two new male Islanders.

Amber read out a text she received: "Islanders, it's time for the real games to begin. Please welcome your new arrivals. #DoubleTrouble #BoxFresh #HotToFoxtrot."

Curtis Pritchard (aka Strictly star AJ's brother) and Tommy Fury (aka boxing legend Tyson's brother) entered the villa.

The male Islanders were left stunned over the arrival, with Michael saying in the beach hut: "Nobody was expecting that! Like nobody at all!"

Will any of the girls decide to ditch their partners in favour of the new men?
