Hollyoaks bombshell Jorgie Porter ‘set for return’ as sexy Theresa McQueen

Hollyoaks icon Jorgie Porter is reportedly heading back to Chester to celebrate the Channel 4 soap's 25th anniversary.

The actress, 32, is set to reprise her role as Theresa McQueen, who was last seen in Hollyoaks village four years ago, according to The Sun.

Duing her time away from the show, Jorgie has taken part in Dancing On Ice, I'm A Celebrity and Celebs Go Dating, posed for lad mags' snaps and forged a career on stage

Blonde bombshell Jorgie also spent some time stateside to audition for Hollyowod roles.

Jorgie's return to the comes after Bryan Kirkwood teased classic characters would be making an comeback to mark the Hollyoaks milestone.

A source told The Sun: "Jorgie is excited about the comeback and can’t wait to get her teeth back into her favourite role.

"Bosses were keen to resurrect one of its most popular characters to draw in original viewers."

Ditzy Theresa was first seen in Hollyoaks in 2008, and she left the village in 2016 after surviving Nico's murder attempt.

She managed to forget her own baby daughter Myra-Pocahontas but at the last minute she remembered and took her to Spain where they have lived ever since.

Jorgie will be back on our screens this week as she will be part of Hollyoaks Favourite, which has replaced new episodes of the soap as filming has currently been passed due to the coronavirus outbreak.

A spokesperson for Hollyoaks said: "From Monday 30th March, we will be reducing the number of our weekly new episodes from five down to three, which will air Monday to Wednesday.

"To make sure we stay on air every week night, fans can look forward to extra special episodes every Thursday and Friday on E4, as we begin a brand new series of 'Hollyoaks Favourites'.

Introduced by Kieron Richardson and Jorgie Porter, this series will give viewers a chance to revisit some of our biggest episodes, from weddings, bust-ups, heartbreaks and some of our biggest and best stunts."

Fans will have to wait and see what brings Theresa back to Hollyoaks village later this year.

Hollyoaks continues on Channel 4 tonight at 6.30pm followed by first look episode on E4 at 7pm
