The actress has been paired with Johannes, and the turbulent duo have danced the American smooth and Paso Doble.

Caroline previously said that she was both ‘thrilled and terrified in equal measure to be taking part’ in the show.

But who is Caroline Quentin, and who is her real life partner?

How old is Caroline Quentin?

Caroline Quentin is 60 years old (although, she certainly doesn’t look it!)

She was born on July 11, 1960, in Reigate, Surrey.

Who is Caroline Quentin’s husband?

Caroline Quentin is currently married to Sam Farmer, who is a scientist.

He has served three years on the council of the Society of Cosmetic Scientists and is a member of both the Education Committee and the Schools Education Committee (Scrub Up On Science).

Farmer has also launched a skincare brand for adolescent skin and hair.

Sam and Caroline met in 1998 when he was working as a runner on Men Behaving Badly, and they got married in 2006.

The couple have two children together, Emily and William.

Caroline is 11 years Sam’s senior – which she often jokes about.

She told The Independent: ‘You may have read stories about him being my child bride. But I looked at him and had a Sam Taylor-Wood moment.’

‘I just thought “Yum!” I still do now.’

Caroline was previously married to comedian and Have I Got News For You team captain Paul Merton between 1990 and 1998.

Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight on BBC One at 7.25pm.
