As Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) continues to ignore the fact she is getting older in Coronation Street, her behaviour leads to a huge accident involving a motorbike.
In the pub, Audrey and Rita (Barbara Knox) decide to raise a toast to growing old disgracefully.
Embracing her new outlook on life, Audrey is found in the pub by Rita the next day with a drink in hand.
After Rita points out she should get back to work, Audrey tells a grumpy David (Jack P Shepherd) she will soon be returning to the barbers.
As Audrey starts her first shift, it isn’t long until she cracks open the wine and starts flirting with Ryan (Ryan Prescott), who’s in for a cut.
Arriving to find Audrey playing table football with Ryan, Maria (Samia Longchambon) insists she should go home.
At her wits end, Gail tries to calmly address the issue of drinking to Audrey, but she hits the roof and announces she’s moving back home with immediate effect.
Later on, back at the barbers, Audrey staggers into the motorbike which falls and knocks her over.
As Audrey cries out for help, how long will she be left on the floor? Will anyone come to her rescue?
