Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? fans were not best pleased on Saturday, after a contestant was faced with a "stupid contrived question".

Glen Bunn was returning to the hot seat after playing the game from the weekend before, but as he settled back into things, he had to answer an unusual question to secure £64,000.

Presenter Jeremy Clarkson read: "From the 2000 awards ceremony onwards, the Best Actress Oscar has never been won by a woman whose surname begins with which one of these letters?"

But viewers at home thought things had become rather tough for the player.

Taking to Twitter, Millionaire fans aired their disappointment.

One fan penned: "What a stupid first question."

Another said: "Now that's tough for £64k."

A third chimed: "Not a good question."

"Worst question I have ever heard on a TV quiz show. So glad he guessed the correct answer," a fourth tweeted.

While another penned: "Yes, I agree. Some awful obscure questions always flop up."

After calling a friend for help but receiving no luck, Glen managed to guess the right answer, leaving viewers at home and presenter Jeremy stunned.

Taking to Twitter again, viewers expressed their excitement.

"Jammy bugger well done," one impressed viewer wrote.

Another penned: "That was a 'let's get rid of him' Question and it f*****g failed LOL."

But the luck didn't stop for Glen as he managed to walk away with an incredible £125,000.

Loving his success, millionaire fans headed to Twitter again to praise the young chap.

"Great game Glen. £125k is now yours!!!!!" A fan exclaimed.

While another chimed: "Wow. I was sure that was B. But whatever, Glen goes home the equal highest winner of the series, and deservedly so."
