Jeremy Clarkson’s attempt at becoming a farmer proved to make excellent television as Amazon Prime Video’s Clarkson’s Farm enjoyed huge success when it was launched in June. Fans of The Grand Tour host will be pleased to hear the streaming giant has announced a second season of the hit show but sidekick Kaleb Cooper is hoping for a huge change to the format.
Prime Video released a clip, filmed by Kaleb, of the former Top Gear presenter sharing the news.
He said: “Following the success of the first series I’m delighted to say there will be a second series of Clarkson’s Farm.”
“You mean Kaleb’s farm,” Jeremy’s farmhand quipped before Jeremy hit back: “No!”
“All the team are back, cheerful Charlie, Lisa, Gerald and the foetus in a tractor,” Jeremy added.

Turning the camera towards him, Kaleb repeated his request: “Kaleb’s Farm.”
The first season of Clarkson’s Farm followed Jeremy as he took on managing his 1,000-acre farm despite having no experience in the field.
Viewers were bowled over by Jeremy’s no-nonsense team who all firmly put the presenter in his place when it became clear he had little idea about what he was doing.
Prime Video has promised the second instalment of the series will follow the group as Jeremy’s continues on his farming adventure.
Speaking out, The Grand Tour host said: “I’m absolutely delighted that, once again you’ll be able to spend some time with Cheerful Charlie, Gerald, Lisa and of course, Kaleb. We are such a happy team.”
“Clarkson’s Farm is Jeremy’s unfiltered love letter to farming,” said Dan Grabiner, Head of UK Originals, Amazon Studios.
“It is that authenticity, charm and humour, combined with the farm’s fantastic characters, which have made the series such a remarkable hit with audiences.
“We are delighted to be joining the team for another year-in-the-life of Diddly Squat, and wish Kaleb and farmers across the country luck as Mother Nature continues to take revenge on Jeremy.”

Elsewhere, Kaleb confirmed he and Jeremy are “good friends” during a recent appearance on Steph’s Packed Lunch.
“I like to say we’re good friends I do get angry quite a bit as you’ve probably seen,” he said.
“When he messes it up I get very angry but apart from that, he’s a really nice chap.
“I mean we get on and we get on with work and without work which is really good.”

Opening up on what it’s like filming the Prime series, he continued: “Everything you see on camera, is what happened behind the scenes as well I mean.
“It’s chaotic, it really is, it’s so busy because you know you can’t go out there and drill a field, and then go right, ‘Did you get that on camera? and he goes, ‘No, do it again.’
“You can’t do that so if you haven’t got it, you haven’t got it, end of.”
“It’s really difficult for the cameraman and the director to make sure they’ve got everything set up, which I see behind the scenes.”
Clarkson’s Farm is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video.
