Kim Kardashian stars in new season of American Horror Story

Kim Kardashian has swapped reality TV for a lead acting role in FX’s leading anthology series American Horror Story.

While initially being met with a slew of negativity from sceptical fans and even Hollywood legend Sharon Stone and Patti LuPone, the SKIMS founder certainly gave them a run for the money after they watched her in action during her debut on the horror series – which aired on FX and Hulu on Wednesday.

The Kardashians star was cast as Siobhan Walsh starring alongside Emma Roberts’ heroine Anna Alcott.

As the story kicks off fans learn Siobhan is struggling with health issues but nonetheless would do anything to support her protégé in her attempts to become pregnant and become a huge star.

But as fans get to know Kim’s character more deeply they realize she shares a stark resemblance with someone pretty close to her.

Taking to X (formally Twitter) fans dashed to discuss what happened in the premiering episode with many saying that Kim was portraying her mom Kris Jenner in the series.

User @AzusaChristiez wrote: “Haha yeah this role is perfect for Kim K lol she’s basically just channeling her Mom Kris.”

Another fan @starringlu34381 noted: “They Contorted the f**k out of Kim Kardashian’s face to look like Kris Jenner cause she’s basically playing the role of Her mom.”

With @oh__youfancyhuh echoing: “Kim K playing her mother pretty much.”

Meanwhile, other fans hailed The Kardashians reality star for her rather surprising acting skills.

@W1lmerSarmiento penned: “Dare I say, Kim was not bad. She delivered her lines pretty cleanly. She gave the character some life and wasn’t as monotone as we’re used to seeing her. Kudos.”

American Horror Story airs on FX and is also available to stream on Hulu.
