Loose Women fans were utterly bemused by one choice of discussion segment on the ITV show today about bins.
Hosted by Charlene White, the presenter was joined by Linda Robson, Denise Welch and Jane Moore in the studio today.
The segment was called: "Do you love or loathe putting out the bins?"
And viewers were immediately puzzled by why it was a topic of interest.
But things seemed to turn even stranger when the panel opted to discuss whether they would hire a "bin butler" – someone to take out the bins for you every week.
Linda, who openly talks about her OCD condition, insisted she has to handle the bins and clean them herself, while Denise said she would hire a "bin butler" no question.
Jane seemed happy with her husband Gary’s handling of the household chore, while Charlene gets fed up with her partner forgetting to do the bins every week.
Unimpressed by the choice of segment on a Bank Holiday Monday when lots more people had the time at home to watch daytime TV, viewers flocked to Twitter to comment.
"A whole segment on whether people like to take bins out or not, how do people watch this s**t #LooseWomen," one person slammed.
Another exclaimed: "A bin butler? Get a grip! Putting the bins out is only exercise I get just lately #loosewomen @loosewomen."
"#LooseWomen did I just hear that seriously. Someone to put ur bin out. Jesus jesus naaaaaaaaaaaa there nuts," a third declared.
While a fourth watcher wondered: "Slow news day? #LooseWomen."
"No. End of segment. #LooseWomen," a fifth said impatiently.
And another fan thought the concept was hilarious, added: "As if ‘Bin Butler’ is a thing That’s just utter laziness #LooseWomen," posted next to a series of laughing emojis.
Also during today’s show, Stacey Dooley appeared via video link to discuss her latest series, and Linda proved to viewers she has managed to learn to ride a bike after years of not being able.
Loose Women continues weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
