Arabella arrived in the villa in the morning for Love Island’s latest episode and gave Curtis Pritchard a shock when he spotted her first.
The ITV2 scene produced a hilarious moment by Curtis when he raised his sunglasses to check out the new arrival as she wowed islanders with her looks.
She then caused more drama as she selected currently coupled-up Danny Williams to go on a date with and also single Anton Danyluk.
However, it soon became apparent someone in the villa already knew who she was.
She was recognised by Lucie Donlan who claimed: “You’re my ex’s ex!”
Then came the line that shocked fans as Arabella revealed: “Well, not ex.”
She then added, hinting it is still more: “There was no crossover was there?”
The “ex” appears to be 2018 Love Island contestant Charlie Frederick who dated Lucie and was in a relationship with Arabella.
However, in a huge twist, Charlie has taken to social media to claim he and Arabella were still dating when she entered the villa.
He took to Instagram and put on a message revealing his feelings and added screenshots of their conversations from just two weeks ago.
I’m truly upset that Arabella has lied to me

The star revealed: “Right so this is all an absolute madness for me. Finding out that a person I’m seeing / have a lot of feelings for on a serious level has just strolled into the villa, completely disregarding my feelings and our relationship or what we had, I feel like I have to air these screenshots because I feel like I’ve been completely mugged off.
“I’m truly upset that Arabella has lied to me about what she was doing and claiming she had a campaign but instead auctioning going into Love Island.
“And like any relationship we had our ups and downs but these next few screenshots are all within the last two weeks. I’m truly gutted and cannot for the life of me figure out why she has done this.”
The screenshots showed a different side to Arabella as she “begged him” to see her.
A spokesperson from the show confirmed to The Sun: “We spoke to Arabella before she went into the villa and she is single.”
Fans saw the connection as soon as Arabella appeared to suggest he’s not her ex and took to Twitter to point it out.
“Lucie: ‘You’re my ex’s ex’. Arabella: ‘well not ex’ – I’m sorry are you still together?”
Meanwhile, as tinges of jealousy over Arabella’s arrival spark through the group, it’s in a game of Snog, Marry, Avoid that has Molly-Mae Hague’s feathers truly ruffled.
At first Arabella makes it clear she won’t be making a play for Tommy Fury, so in theory Molly-Mae shouldn’t have any fears.
But that turns to indignance when Arabella insinuates any girls shouldn’t trust Tommy.
Love Island continues airs at 9pm on ITV2.
