Friday night’s episode of Love Island went from 0 to 100 very quickly.
While other couples including Amy Hart and Curtis Pritchard, and Lucie Dolan and Joe Garrett took a back seat, all the drama was centred on Tommy Fury’s lust for two ladies.
Tommy Fury’s love triangle is one of the biggest talking points of the series so far, with many people tuning in to see who the professional boxer will pursue.
It was only last week that Tommy admitted that neither “Beyonce or Rihanna” could make his head turn while cracking on with Molly-Mae Hague.
The duo eventually paired up, however their blossoming romance was soon rocked by new arrival Maura Higgins.
Maura, who chose Tommy for a date, confessed her feelings towards the 20-year-old, revealing she “wants to wrap her legs around his head”.
During the latest instalment, Maura decided to take things with Tommy to the next level by straddling him during a racy chat in the living room.
After Tommy decided to kip on the sofa in a bid to calm down the drama, Maura tried to seduce Tommy by trying, and failing, to plant a kiss on his face.
Clearly uncomfortable by the advances, Tommy dodged the kisses and turned his cheek away.
Not giving up, Maura tried once more to kiss him, but to no avail.
Her actions have been slammed by fans for being “predatory.”
Love Islander Amber Davies, who appeared on the 2017 series, took to Twitter to share her views.
The post, uploaded to her 382,000 followers, read: “Mortified by Maura’s behaviour.”
Many soon backed Amber’s views expressing their own concerns towards Maura’s questionable flirting.
One said: “It’s definitely wrong, if a guy tried to force kiss a girl and said the type of stuff she said they would be kicked off the show undeniably.”
While another put: “Its absolutely disgusting! I can’t even handle it, she’s put me right off watching.”
Love Island returns on Sunday on ITV2 at 9pm.
