Love Island's Sharon Gaffka has been dumped from the villa after new bombshell AJ Bunker chose Hugo Hammond in a tense re-coupling.

The 28 year old beauty, from Hertfordshire, was given the powerful position to have first pick from the beautiful boys in the villa and chose Hugo Hammond, who was previously coupled up with 25 year old Sharon.

“I would like to couple up with this boy because first of all he is gorgeous,” AJ said.

“Since coming into the Villa, he has made me feel so comfortable.”

“He has all the right morals I’m looking for in someone long term….” she adds, and hardcore viewers will know AJ has already referenced Hugo as having “strong” and “good” morals when she talked through her feelings for him in the Beach Hut.

Taking to Twitter to discuss their theories, many fans already believed AJ and Hugo proved for an electric match.

“This is how it will go = AJ picks first and picks Hugo Danny picks next and picks Lucinda, Jake and Liberty, Toby and Chloe, Liam and Millie, Teddy and Faye, Aaron picks Kaz Sharon go home,” one person guessed.

“I think Hugo & AJ suit #LoveIsland,” another Love Island addict analysed.

A third theorised: “I really don't think AJ is going to go for Liam if I'm being completely honest. I think she's going to pick Hugo. No clue for Danny! #loveIsland”

While a fourth even made an early final prediction as they declared: “Hugo and AJ deserve to win.. is it too early to say? #LoveIsland.”

Meanwhile Danny Bibby chose to couple up with Lucinda Strafford despite Aaron Francis wanting to get to know the Brighton beauty.

It comes as Jake Cornish coupled up with Liberty Poole, Liam Reardon chose Millie Court, Toby Aromolaran picked Chloe Burrows and Teddy Soares chose Faye Winter.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox
