Netflix’s Sex Education fans ‘disgusted’ by graphic solo sex act scenes in season 2 opening episode – The Sun

SEX Education is back on Netflix and is already sending shockwaves through viewers.

The teen drama returned to the streaming service today, with Otis Milburn (Asa Butterfield) continuing his mission to lose his virginity.

While the show is known for its candid approach to sex, as its title would suggest, the opening minutes of season 2 left many fans aghast with its graphic depiction of masturbation.

A montage of self-love sees Otis pleasuring himself in all manner of inappropriate locations, with one particularly shocking moment seeing him ejaculate on the window of his mother’s car.

Suffice to say Twitter was soon flooded with messages of outrage from those tuning into the first episode.

“So I've loved Asa Butterfield since Merlin, and Nanny McPhee, and watching him in a w***ing montage is hella weird,” one user moaned.

“I’m 30 seconds in, CAN OTIS STOP W***ING PLEASE!” a second raged.

“Masturbation montage is pure filth, Sex Education is not holding back this season,” a third chimed in.

A fourth joked: “I'm starting to think 9am was too early to watch a 5 minute montage of Asa Butterfield w***ing off.”

While a fifth remarked: “Growing up where they film Sex Education is honestly so weird. Like oh yes, Otis just had a w*** against that tree. I know where that tree is. wonderful.”

Others called the opening sequence “disgusting,” “over the top” and “vulgar”.

The first series of Sex Education focused on Otis' crush on bad girl Maeve, who he couldn't be with due to her on-off boyfriend Jackson.

After Maeve disappeared, Otis [Asa Butterfield] moved on to new girl Ola, and the trailer kicks off with Otis excitedly planning to have sex with his girlfriend for the first time.

However, the plan is thrown off course when Maeve [Emma Mackey] returns – and it looks like she has a huge bombshell to drop, with things set to get complicated.

Otis' best pal Eric [Ncuti Gatwa] also sees a familiar face return, with it revealed that Adam is actually working in a pharmacy – not at military school as we were led to believe.

Eric appears to have moved on from the bad boy, and can be seen snogging Sami Outalbali’s new character Rahim in the teaser clip released earlier this week.

Rahim is a new Moordale student from France, and is quick to turn heads in the school.

Sex Education seasons 1 and 2 are available to stream on Netflix now.
