Piers Morgan's wife Celia Walden joined Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield in the ITV studios today for This Morning.
The 44-year-old journalist appeared on set to discuss women's sex lives, as studies have shown that "having sex delays the menopause".
Celia explained that sex once a week with your partner has massive health benefits for women, especially later on in life.
She joked: "If you have sex once a week you never die and live forever."
Before adding: "It does make sense because when the doctor explains it she explains that your system needs to be used."
Celia mentioned "terrible statistics involving nuns" who had an increased likelihood of a cancer diagnosis, potentially linked to their celibacy.
Using the euphemism of "self-love" for masturbation, she joked that men aren't necessary for a healthy sex life.
She said: "The research stipulates that self-love is included…"
Piers and Celia tied the knot in 2010 in Swinbrook, Oxfordshire, at an intimate ceremony with close family and friends.
The two share their little daughter Elise, eight, who is Piers' fourth child and only girl.
