SEAL Team season four is well underway and fans are eager to find out what will happen to Bravo Commander Jason Hayes (played by David Boreanaz) who is facing manslaughter charges. SEAL Team is currently taking a short hiatus but when will the show return? Express.co.uk has everything you need to know.

When will SEAL Team be back on?

SEAL Team fans in the US will be disappointed to learn SEAL Team is not airing tonight (Wednesday, March 31) on CBS.

Fans were right to expect episode 11 of SEAL Team season four, titled Limits of Loyalty to air tonight but sadly, the next instalment will not air for another week.

SEAL Team will be back on screens on Wednesday, April 7 at 9pm Eastern Standard Time on CBS.

At the moment it is unknown whether the remaining episodes in the series will air weekly again once episode 11 concludes.

An exact reason for the show’s two-week hiatus has not officially been given by CBS.

However, the pause may have something to do with the coronavirus outbreak which hit the production of SEAL Team in 2020.

This is not the first break SEAL Team has taken in the fourth season, with the show now entering its fourth hiatus.

Thankfully, CBS has released a short synopsis for the upcoming episode.

The highly-anticipated episode will pick up from the dramatic events of episode 10 which saw Jason accused of manslaughter.

Jason had been arrested in episode nine for violating Article 119 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, which represents manslaughter.

He is suspected of using lethal force without ensuring his target was armed first.

Things took a turn when video evidence was shown by the prosecution at Jason’s preliminary trial which seemed pretty incriminating from the angle it was shot.

For Jason, his world came crashing down when the manslaughter charge was upped to murder when it was uncovered the man he shot was the terrorist who tortured Ray (Neil Brown Jr), which caused the prosecution to argue Jason had shot out of revenge.

Viewers were also left wondering if Ray had betrayed Jason after he got himself a lawyer before delivering his deposition, prompting Jason’s lawyer to encourage him to take a plea deal to lessen the charges against him.

The synopsis reads: “Jason is put on trial with a potential career-ending outcome, without knowing if his closest friend, Ray, has his back.

“Also, Stella (Alona Tal) moves in with Clay (Max Thieriot), and Sonny (AJ Buckley) visits Hannah (Rachel Boston) to help her prepare for the arrival of their baby…”

Fans have been sharing their reactions to episode 10 and the episode 11 synopsis ahead of next week.

One fan tweeted: “Hard to watch this happen to Jason.”

A second fan said: “Another great episode of #SEALTeam tonight! I wish we didn’t have to wait so long to see a new episode.

“It’s hard to watch this happening to Jason.

“I’m not sure what is going on with Ray. I hope that he is not betraying Jason after everything that they have been through.”

A third fan added: “Nooooo! Can’t take these cliffhangers!”

Fans will have to wait until Wednesday, April 7 to find out what happens next.
