It’s normally Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) doing the kidnapping in Emmerdale but this time, the shoe is on the other foot – or the tape is across the other mouth, anyway.
The village hardman is set to fall victim to an attack before then being bound up and gagged in a barn – but who is out to get him and why?
We know that Cain has upset a lot of people in his time so it could be a long list – but whether this is related to the ongoing Tate feud or a new adversary altogether is yet to be confirmed.
However, hope is not lost for Cain. His captor is after some cash and Moira (Natalie J Robb) soon gets a ransom note demanding £5k to save Cain.
Ah surely, the old rogue is worth 5000 big ones Moira?
We all know how Cain and Moira feel about one another so instantly, Moira is on a mission to raise the cash.
But will she find enough or is it curtains for Cain? And just who is responsible?
There’s every chance it could be the controversial stranger who shares a kiss with Charity (Emma Atkins) after their cars collide and they do a bit of flirting and bartering.
As Charity heads away, she hears banging coming from the boot of the man’s car – could it be Cain inside? Or are there multiple kidnappings in the Dales right now?
And if Cain is indeed there, will Charity be his saviour or end up facing a similar fate herself?
The dramatic scenes will air next week.
