Hollyoaks has a creepy new storyline for the McQueen family that will leave viewers keeping their lights on at night, involving a stalker doll.
In Tuesday’s (October 13) first-look episode, there was a scene that depicted a diary with the seven deadly sins handwritten inside it, along with a text message to Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) reading: ‘Is 7 your lucky number? Only time will tell.’
Later in the show, a talking doll said: ‘Seven deadly sins. Seven McQueens.’
But who is behind the creepy doll? Here’s what we know.
Who is behind the creepy doll on Hollyoaks?
In Tuesday’s episode (October 13), John Paul (James Sutton) found out that both himself and Mercedes have been receiving alarming text messages, and set off on a mission to discover the identity of the person behind the doll.
However, the identity of the doll is currently a mystery.
Fans speculate Theresa McQueen (Jorgie Porter) may be behind it all, as she arrives back in Hollyoaks next week after four years away, which is very coincidental timing.
However, it could also be Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood), who interrupted ex-wife Mercedes when she received the threatening messages in the first-look episode. Perhaps he has a secret motive to want to get back at the McQueens.
It is clear that whoever is behind the doll is very close to the McQueens, as they blackmail them about their dark pasts.
In Monday’s (October 19) upcoming episode. the doll reveals that all seven of the McQueens represent one of the seven sins.
With ‘wrath’ being the first sin, Sylver McQueen (David Tag) believes that it must be in reference to him killing Breda McQueen (Moya Brady) after she revealed she was behind countless murders.
The McQueens must work out the identity of the blackmailer before it is too late.
One to watch: Monday October 19 at 7pm on E4.
