On April 8, 2021, Amber Heard's daughter Oonagh was born.
A friend revealed the baby was born with the help of a surrogate after Heard was told she would never be able to carry her own baby.
The actress confirmed the news on Instagram, where she shared a photo of herself with her daughter on July 1, 2021.
Announcing the exciting news to her 4.3 million followers, she wrote: "I’m so excited to share this news with you. Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms.

Heard has never disclosed the identity of the child’s father or sperm donor.
However, at the time her daughter was born, she was said to be in a relationship with cinematographer Bianca Butti.
The pair reportedly began dating in January 2020 but went their separate ways in December the following year.
Heard has also been linked to several men, including millionaire Tesla creator Elon Musk, and art dealer Vito Schnabel, in addition to her marriage to Johnny Depp.
