CHRIS Daughtry's wife has revealed her daughter Hannah died from unspecified "injuries," as she shares the family's heartbreak over the loss.

The American Idol star's 25-year-old stepdaughter was found dead in her Nashville home by law enforcement officers on Friday.

On Saturday, the singer's wife Deanna revealed on Instagram that "the family is awaiting the autopsy results to determine how Hannah sustained the injuries that caused her death."

The American Idol star's 25-year-old stepdaughter was found dead in her Nashville home by law enforcement officers Friday.

"Our family would like to thank you all for the outpouring of love as we grieve the loss of our daughter Hannah."

"Our hearts are broken," Deanna added.

Deanna has also changed her profile picture on her Instagram page to an image of a burning candle.

Hannah and her younger brother, Griffin, 23, are Deanna’s children from a previous relationship.

Christ shared his wife's Instagram post on his page and added broken-heart emojis.

The singer was in the middle of his Dearly Beloved Tour but has now flown to Nashville, Tennessee, to be with his grieving family.

The tragic news was confirmed by a rep for the singer to the news outlet who added the singer would be taking time out from the tour.

“Due to the unexpected death of Chris and Deanna Daughtry's daughter, Hannah, all currently scheduled shows for the coming week for Daughtry have been postponed,” they said.

The rep added the singer and his loved ones wanted to be left in private while they grieved.

“The Daughtry family thanks you for your understanding and respectfully asks for privacy during this very difficult time,” they said.

The circumstances surrounding Hannah’s death are currently being looked into, according to the rep.

“Further details will be made available at a later date. The investigation into this tragic death is still ongoing,” they added.

Chris and Deanna also have twins Adalynn Rose and Noah James, 10.

Chris got his start on the well-known show American Idol in 2006, when the original judges heard out the singers.

He came in fourth place in the singing competition and has since made a name for himself on the country stage.
