THE mum of tragic Harry Dunn is marking the one-year anniversary of his death by making a fresh plea for his alleged killer to come back and face justice.
Charlotte Charles urged American Anne Sacoolas to “do the right thing and end my torture”.
She said: “Set a good example to your children by picking up the phone and getting this sorted for your sake and ours.
“It’s never too late to reach out to say sorry.
“If the apology was sincere, that one word would mean a huge amount to me."
Harry, 19, was killed when his motorbike was hit by a car near RAF Croughton, Northants, on August 27 last year.
The driver, Ms Sacoolas, 42, fled to the US citing diplomatic immunity and an extradition request was rejected.
As the one-year mark approaches next week, Charlotte, 45, said: “She will be very aware of the anniversary of Harry’s death because her birthday is the following day.
“It’s torture for me imagining her tucking her three children into bed at night and driving them to school.
“I have been robbed of that, I miss Harry so much.”
