NYPD arrests man who allegedly stripped Revel scooters for parts

What a Revel-ation!

Cops have collared a 44-year-old man in connection to a string of Revel scooters being stripped for parts, The Post has learned.

The alleged scavenger was picked up Friday on a pair of incidents in September when he was captured on camera pulling the batteries from the rental scooters, according to police sources.

The sources told The Post the man copped to being depicted in one of the videos.

A spokesman for the NYPD confirmed the arrest, but his charges were still pending Monday morning.

The man is expected to face grand larceny charges.

Detectives are investigating whether the man had pulled the parts from other scooters in numerous other incidents, sources added.

Revel shut down for a few weeks over the summer following a trio of deaths — including CBS2 reporter Nina Kapur — but started back up in August under new safety guidelines.
