Great ball of fire!
A breached gas line in Corpus Christi, Texas, sent a plume of fire shooting 150 feet into the air Monday morning, according to reports.
Giant flames were captured spewing out into the dry Texas air amid a backdrop of black smoke nearly consuming the sky, pictures show.
It’s not clear who owns the gas line and fire officials are trying to figure out if they should just let the fire burn out or if they should extinguish it, Corpus Christi Deputy Fire Chief Richie Quintero told CNN.
In response, officials shut down the local highway in both directions and advised people in the area to “shelter in place” while the fire is burning, the outlet reported.
