THREE people have been killed after a car crashed into a pub's beer garden in Australia.

The out-of-control vehicle slammed straight into the popular Royal Hotel at Daylesford, north west of Melbourne.

The horror crash took place just after 6pm on Sunday, Victoria Police confirmed on social media.

"Emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious crash in Vincent Street Daylesford," the force wrote on X.

Emergency services, including four rescue helicopters, were dispatched to the pub and have asked members of the public to avoid the area.

Police have put diversions in place.
