Who is Texas shooting suspect Larry Bollin?

TEXAS shooting suspect, accused of killing a co-worker and injuring six others has been identified as 27-year-old Larry Bollin.

The incident took place on Thursday, April 8, 2021, when the suspect allegedly went into a gun rampage at a cabinet-making firm in Bryan, Texas.

He is accused of killing a co-worker and wounding five other employees before shooting a state trooper during a pursuit.

Following the mass shooting, police arrived at the scene around 2.30pm but Bollin had reportedly fled the scene.

The suspect has since been charged with murder and is being held on a $1 million bond, according to the Bryan Police Department.

A colleague of the suspect, Marc Barron told ABC 13 : “I see him every day.

“The dude, he’s kind of quiet. He’s the dude you wouldn’t expect to do this kind of stuff.

“But I guess that’s why nobody expected for stuff like this to happen.”

Did he work at Kent Moore Cabinets?

Bryan Police Chief Eric Buske said its believed Bollin is an employee at Kent Moore Cabinets, where the shooting happened, ABC13 reports.

He added that investigators believe Bollin was solely responsible for the attack.

An employee told the outlet that she she and other co-workers were praying for their lives during the attack.

“I hid under a small place and praying to God,” she said.

“To give me the opportunity to be alive again. Because you never know with these people.

"I remember El Paso. I remember Virginia. These shootings going on everywhere and you never know.”

How many people were killed in Texas shooting?

According to police, as of Thursday evening one person has died in the shooting.

The victim reportedly died at the scene.

Four people were critically injured during the attack and one was non-critical.

The state trooper, who has not yet been identified, is in serious, but stable condition, KBTX reported.

Two ambulances rushed victims to St. Joseph Hospital.

Following the shooting, Kent Moore Cabinets released a statement saying they are "devastated by the events."

The statement reads :"Our hearts go out to the families and the loved ones of those affected. We want to thank the many members of our law enforcement teams and other emergency personnel who responded so quickly.

"We are fully cooperating with law enforcement during the investigation of this horrible crime. We ask that you respect the privacy of the family members of those who were involved.

"Right now, our focus is on providing support to and prayers for our employees and the extended Kent Moore Cabinets family during this tragic time."
